Electric Scooter

Yadea

Stefano Giovannoni designs low cost electric scooters for the Chinese market. In this case, compared to traditional products, the intervention focused on the structure, which appears very simplified since the main elements, the battery and the motor, are positioned respectively in the lower part between the wheels and in the center of the rear wheel. Very important is the definition of the frame which, by determining the structure of the object, shifts the balance between the various components. The skeleton of the vehicle expresses the concept, supports the battery and the saddle, connecting these to the handlebar, which in turn leads to the front wheel and the joint that cushions the rear wheel. Under the saddle is the compartment that houses the battery "controller". The materials used are the classic ones: the structure is metal while the external cladding is in plastic, except for some that can be in aluminum. However, all scooters are very light and easy to handle.
